Non Fiction and Fantasy

This site will be by writers and for readers of all genres, hopefully with a strong emphasis on fictional writing. I have started the process off with some of my science fiction and I will be throwing in some recipes as well, only because I have a really strong love of food ... especially while I am reading.

I will not be posting my online content here but I will be posting stories that may be of interest to the readers and other contributors to this site as well. If you want to contribute articles but you do not see a category that meets your needs, please feel free to contact me using the contact form and I will get back to you as quickly as possible, likely with a viable solution and a new category.

It is a great joy that I have for writing and I hope to attract many others who share that passion. Please feel free to come by either to contribute or just to read. If you think your materials are lacking, please do not worry about it as we are not here to judge, but to enjoy. I would however, encourage all of you to comment on the stories you read here as well since it is nice for us writers, love us or hate us, to hear what our readers have to say.

Thanks for your patronage and please come back often as I will be starting the blog carnivals soon as well and hopefully, I can encourage many of those contributors to offer up some of their materials here as well.

Thanks

Ward Tipton

1: The Hunter
This story had so much left to discover and so many characters screaming at me to tell their stories as well that I am actually writing a book based on this one. The Hunter would probably not make a great movie but it should be a wonderful book if you like action, a smattering of gratuitous violence and some interesting twists and turns as mankind faces the unknown.

2: The Silence of Space
Okay, maybe you believe that deep space really is silent. The question remains, can you hear the silence of space? Another tale from the Traveler's Bar.

3: The Sodex-FS – Maiden Voyage
It is not necessarily technology that makes a society great. It is more often what a society can do without its technology that makes it what it is.

4: Tinker's Toy
A rather humorous look at what happens when you play at work.

5: Welcome to the Planet URoCS
Welcome to the Planet URoCS is a rather cynical view of what happens when the politicians get what they want.

6: Starship
What really happens when you harness more power than you can contain?

7: The Phallacine Fallacy
Part of the Traveler's Bar series. This story is about a scientist who discovers more than he bargained for when he discovers his humanity. It could probably also go in romance, but ... well ... I may be a writer but I am still a guy.
